Setting up King IPTV takes about five minutes, and you do not need any technical experience. You need three things: a device, a player app, and the login details we send you after you order. This guide walks through every step and every device.
What you’ll need
- A device connected to the internet.
- A player app. We recommend TiviMate, IPTV Smarters or IBO Player.
- Your login details: the server URL, username and password we send on WhatsApp after you order.
Step 1: Install a player app
Your King IPTV login works inside a player app, which is what actually plays the streams. The app is free or inexpensive and is available from each device’s app store.
- On a Firestick: open the Amazon Appstore, search for “IPTV Smarters” or “TiviMate” and install it.
- On Android (TV, box, phone or tablet): open the Google Play Store and install IPTV Smarters or TiviMate.
- On a Smart TV: use the app store built into the TV. On Samsung, search the Apps section; on LG, open the LG Content Store. IBO Player or IPTV Smarters are good options.
If your TV’s app store does not have a player, the simplest fix is to connect a Firestick or Android box to the TV and install the app there.
Step 2: Enter your login
Once the app is installed, open it and choose “Login with Xtream Codes” (most apps label it this way). If your app only supports M3U, you can use the M3U link instead. We can provide either format.
- Enter the server URL exactly as we sent it.
- Enter your username.
- Enter your password.
- Tap Login or Add User.

Step 3: Start watching
Your channels, movies and series load automatically once you are logged in. Browse the live TV categories, open the on-demand library, or jump straight to sports. If a stream ever buffers, check your internet speed or restart the app. If you are stuck, message us on WhatsApp.
Firestick setup in detail
The Firestick is the most popular device for IPTV because it is cheap and connects to any TV with an HDMI port. After installing a player app from the Amazon Appstore, open it and follow Step 2 above.

Smart TV setup in detail
Smart TVs from Samsung and LG can run player apps directly, which means no extra device needed. The catch is that some TV app stores have a limited selection. If you cannot find IPTV Smarters or IBO Player, the most reliable route is a Firestick or Android box plugged into the TV. You get the same experience with a wider choice of apps.

Android setup in detail
On an Android TV, box, phone or tablet, the process is identical to the Firestick: install IPTV Smarters or TiviMate from the Play Store, then log in with Xtream Codes. On phones and tablets, your login lets you watch on the go, anywhere you have an internet connection.
Setting up on iPhone and iPad
On iOS, download a player app such as IPTV Smarters from the App Store, open it, and log in with your Xtream Codes details. The process is the same as Android: install, log in, watch. Your subscription works on Apple devices just as well as on Android and Fire TV.
Setting up on MAG boxes
If you use a MAG box, open the Portal settings, enter the portal URL we provide, and save. The box will reboot and load the portal. MAG boxes use a slightly different setup to the app-based devices, but it takes the same two minutes, and we can walk you through it on WhatsApp.
Setting up on Windows and Mac
On a computer, you can use a dedicated player app such as IPTV Smarters Pro for Windows, or VLC with an M3U playlist. Most people prefer a dedicated IPTV player because it gives you a proper TV-style guide and channel list. Message us on WhatsApp if you would like the M3U link instead of Xtream Codes. Either format works.
TiviMate vs IPTV Smarters: which app?
Both apps do the job well, but they suit different people:
- TiviMate has a slick TV-guide experience and feels most like a premium cable box. It is a paid app on Android and Fire TV, and is not available on iOS.
- IPTV Smarters is free, works on nearly every device including iOS, and is the easiest to get started with.
- IBO Player is a good choice on Samsung and LG TVs, where the other apps are harder to find.

Setting up the TV guide (EPG)
Most player apps load the electronic programme guide automatically when you log in. If the guide looks empty, open the app’s playlist settings and refresh the EPG. The guide pulls from your login, so no separate setup is required.
Recording and favourites
TiviMate in particular supports recording and a favourites list. Add channels you watch often to your favourites so they appear at the top, and use recording for matches you want to watch later. Note that recording requires your device to stay on and the app to keep running.
Tips for the best picture
For smooth 4K, connect your device to the router with an Ethernet cable if possible, or use the 5GHz Wi-Fi band rather than 2.4GHz. Close other apps running in the background, and if a channel ever buffers, dropping from 4K to FHD usually keeps it running smoothly on slower connections.
Troubleshooting common issues
- Won’t log in: double-check the server URL, username and password. A single typo stops the login. Copy and paste them rather than retyping.
- Buffering: test your internet speed. 4K streams want a fast, stable connection; switching to a wired connection or the 5GHz Wi-Fi band usually fixes it.
- Channels not loading: close the app fully and reopen it, or check for an app update.
- No app in the store: use a Firestick or Android box as the player instead.

Recommended devices, ranked
If you are choosing a device, here is how we would rank them for IPTV:
- Firestick 4K Max: the best balance of price, power and app choice.
- NVIDIA Shield or a good Android box: the most powerful option for demanding users.
- A recent Samsung or LG Smart TV: fine if you want no extra device, but with a smaller app choice.
- Phone or tablet: great as a second screen, less ideal as the main TV.
- Windows or Mac: works well, but a dedicated box is more comfortable on the sofa.
Any of these works. The differences are in app choice and how smoothly 4K runs, not in whether IPTV functions at all.
Common setup mistakes to avoid
- Retyping the login instead of pasting it. One wrong character stops the login. Copy and paste.
- Choosing the wrong login method. Make sure you pick “Xtream Codes” if you are using a server URL, username and password.
- Skipping the app update. An old player app causes crashes and missing channels.
- Using 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for 4K. Switch to 5GHz or Ethernet for the best picture.
- Forgetting the second device. If the whole family streams at once, a 1-connection plan will keep stopping. Count your screens first.
One login, many devices
You can install the player app and log in on every device you own. The only limit is how many of them stream at the same time, which is set by your plan’s connection count. So set up the living room TV, the bedroom box and your phone once, and you are done.
